Alakef Coffee Roasters has met the Organic Standards established under the USDA National Organic Program effective October 14, 2002

We are a forward-thinking company, that is constantly searching for ways to innovate, to make our business better and more efficient. We strive to keep up with and anticipate our customer’s increasing needs. All this is done without sacrificing the quality of our coffee, the service we offer to our customers, or the integrity of our reputation.

In addition, we are always looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment from seeking out more environmentally friendly packaging and shipping materials to recycling as much of the by-product from our coffee roasting process as possible, such as jute, burlap coffee bags and chaff from the roasted coffee. In the future, we will implement newer methods of increasing sustainability as technology advances and becomes available to us. This knowledge will be passed along to our customers to increase environmental awareness within the Alakef community.

We don’t need to rely on a logo or a gimmick to sell our coffee. We rely on our passion, dedication and the exceptional quality of the coffee and products we sell – humbly, honestly, and simply. Roasting coffee is what we do and we do it well.
